SuprAffs: Social Skills
I'M PLEASED when  I'm able to practice my social skills on strangers.   It helps me better interact with those I want to be close to.

IT'S NICE when I  make it a point be friendly with clerks, receptionists, drivers, etc., it reminds me that people are basically friendly and even helpful.

I LIKE it when I expand my social support group.  It increases my chances of finding someone to talk to when feeling the need.

I LIKE speaking out loud, into a mirror while smiling and speaking out loud while looking at pictures of smiling faces.  It reduces my social fears and fear of speaking.

I LOVE it when I'm able to join various social groups such as volunteer groups, charities, library discussion groups, etc..  It reduces my social fears when being around people with similar values to mine.

I LOVE it when I can be social at least once a day.  Even if it's just on the phone.  It makes me feel good about myself.

I ENJOY it when I can "face down" my fears and attend social events.  It usually helps elevate my mood once I get out.

I LIKE it when I'm being outgoing and gregarious.  It makes me feel more upbeat and confident.

When socializing I LIKE it when I focus on others rather than myself.

I LIKE it when I elevate my mood with Accelerated-State
Conditioning techniques prior to attending social events.  It greatly reduces my fear and can even make me look forward to attending social functions.

I LIKE it when I am not overly concerned about what others think.  It lets me be myself which others usually appreciate.

I LIKE it when I avoid being argumentative with others.  I know It avoids unnecessary stress and hard feelings.

I LIKE it when I try to match speaking styles with those I am talking to.   Studies show "language style matching" leads to better communication and relationships.
